Mitchell then went off to college where he attended the University of Northern Iowa receiving a four-year scholarship in Music Performance. Mitchell, later on, changed his major and graduated from U.N.I. with a Bachelor of Arts in Electronic Media Communication in 2004. After college, he had many different jobs from a camera operator at a local television station, KWWL in Waterloo, IA. to being a crew member on the feature film, “The Season” shot here in Iowa. He decided to go back to school to get his Master’s degree from U.N.I.
